The mission of the Sag Harbor Yacht Club is to serve the following constituencies:

To accomplish this Mission for the benefit and enjoyment of our constituencies and friends, we will be guided by the following principles:
 
· To purchase and acquire property, erect and maintain a house, dock and related facilities for the use of Club members and their friends.
· Honorable conduct in all matters, as befits good citizenship.
· Highest quality in management and operations of an outstanding facility.
· Maintenance of total fiscal integrity at all times.
· A determined focus on the development and promotion of heightened interest in yachting and related social, historical and community events.
